Models of Impact is a role-playing and ideation game that makes it easy (and fun!) to generate new, sustainable, business models. The workshop walks players through a series of activities in order to simulate the process of ideating and launching a social enterprise in just four steps: LEARN, INVENT, PROGRAM, and REPORT.
The workshp will be lead by +Acumen community members Isabel Harvey and Shane Chase.
Isabel is the co-founder of Disruptivo, a startup that inspires, educates, and accelerates social entrepreneurs throughout Mexico. She creates, adapts, and facilitates creative thinking methodologies and strategies to help organizations, as well as people achieve their goals and dreams. Having lived in 4 countries and speaking 3 languages, she has a passion for culture, which she puts to good use in dynamic, diverse organizational settings.
Previously the lead design strategist at verynice (the creator of Models of Impact), Shane is a practitioner in participatory design, social innovation, and organizational change. His work involves facilitating teams and embedding innovation processes to define and develop positively impactful business models. From initial ideation to final implementation, he loves supporting teams to push themselves farther towards their respective missions.
