In this lively and participatory presentation, REI organizers will use stories and data to present a perspective that racism is fundamentally structural in nature. By examining characteristics of modern-day racial inequity, the presentation introduces participants to an analysis that most find immediately helpful and relevant.

COVID-19 is NOT the great equalizer as has been claimed.  The pandemic has increased inequality, exclusion,  and discrimination by disparately impacting lower income people and people of color. To understand the solutions we have to fully acknowledge and understand our deeply embedded structural issues, question how structural racism exists in our businesses, and consciously address.

This program is linked to Conscious Leadership by developing our systems intelligence. REI and their programs are highly recommended by members that have previous attended.
