Purpose, Leadership, Culture and Value: How Conscious Capitalism is Changing Business for the Better.

Join Leadership Greater Hartford for an important, energizing discussion and learn how Conscious Capitalism is helping companies here and around the world thrive by serving a higher purpose, to the benefit of their customers, shareholders, employees, communities and their bottom line.

Capitalism has the greatest potential to change our world. Companies practicing Conscious Capitalism are making it happen. Although ‘consciousness’ and ‘capitalism’ may seem worlds apart, they can co-exist to create extraordinary results and inspired places to work.

A recent Harvard Business Review headline pronounced: Companies that Practice “Conscious Capitalism” Perform 10x Better, a conclusion from the book Firms of Endearment. Co-written by Conscious Capitalism co-founder Raj Sisodia, it studies 28 publicly-traded Conscious Capitalism companies in terms of their stated purpose, compensation, customer service, community investment and environmental impact. Of them, 18 significantly outperformed the S&P 500 index over 5 years – proving that heart and profits aren’t mutually exclusive.
