One of the significant skills of Conscious Leadership is sensing and responding to what emerges in life. In many ways the curriculum is not on a slide deck. Life is the curriculum and often is the greatest teacher of all.

Since the original description for our program this week Thursday at 2pm EST, on Conscious Leadership with Dr. Daniel Friedland and Michael Harth, significant developments have resulted in a revision of this program.

We are sorry to share some painful news, that you may find shocking, so please brace yourself.

On November 12th, Dr. Daniel Friedland was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (Grade 4 Glioblastoma).

Yet, Daniel told us,

What I have been experiencing in rapidly coming to terms with a shortened life at this time is truly astonishing! I am living into the full bloom of my work of "Leading Well from Within" and experiencing a new level of awakening of his Conscious Leadership!”

We are confident this will be a moving event, still focused on Conscious Leadership with a true life lesson playing out in real time for Daniel. Plus, we will hear from Michael, Co-Founder of LAZ Parking about how they have used Daniel's guidance and methodology to cultivate leaders in their incredible organization.

Please continue reading for further information from Daniel directly about why he is so passionate to spend this time with us.

Daniel's message to event attendees:

I actually feel blessed by my cancer. What's emerged for me is a newfound clarity of what matters most now, that is to make every moment count in experiencing intensely loving relationships and leaving a legacy with my work.

As a result, I asked us for us to please continue this program as it feel very meaningful for me to co-facilitate and a powerful transformational experience for us with Michael, my dear friend. We both want to serve you at an even higher level in further catalyzing your Conscious Leadership with all we are learning on my journey together.

One of the main ways my family and I are making meaning at this time is sharing with others all they are learning on their journey. We launched a YouTube channel called, Living Well from Within, which is a natural evolution of my work on Leading Well from Within, where I am finding an even greater sense of purpose to lead more consciously during this challenging time.

My family wants to share this channel with other families (both home and work families) who are also experiencing challenging times, with an unfolding playlist, which you may binge watch as you would a “Netflix series.”

This playlist serves as an ongoing real life human drama filled with transformational lessons that facilitate healing, growth and elevating the lives of individuals, communities and humanity at large: https://bit.ly/LivingWellFromWithin

At this moment, there are almost 90 videos in the playlist, and the magic of what’s unfolding is truly extraordinary. There are multiple rich plot lines, all connected by the overarching theme of healing, growth and elevating humanity.

This includes Alexander McCobin and me sharing the significance of Conscious Capitalism and some exciting new developments for our movement. Another, plot line is the power of Appreciative Inquiry and the build-up to a collaboration in which I collaborated with master facilitator, Jon Berghoff, from XCHANGE on December 2-4, on an Awakening of Conscious Leadership Training, which I consider one of the finest expression of my work to date.

What I, with the support of Michael, want to share on Thursday is an appreciative-inquiry experience to awaken your conscious leadership.

All of what’s been unfolding has provided us with a blessed opportunity to take what we had originally proposed for the program to whole new level.

Consequently, we are increasing the duration of the program from 60-90 minutes, so it will now run from 2-3:30pm EST. I wanted to offer an extra 30 minutes of optional bonus time for any of you who like to learn more about all the significant plot lines and the extraordinary unfolding synchronicities in this Living Well from Within playlist.

We will record the session to allow for the possibility that our community experience could be added to this playlist, as a source of inspiration to other chapters in Conscious Capitalism as well as to a global community of leaders beyond.

Please delete the old Zoom link sent previously and use this Zoom link instead on December 17th instead: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82443246547.

I would like to ask you all to please show up 10 min early at 1:50 pm EST on December 17th for a tech check to make sure you audio and video camera is working and is on so we can be ready for having a powerful and truly connecting community experience together!

I look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
